Pre-Novice
This course is designed to introduce the Novice Obedience exercises to the students. It will work on proofing
all of the necessary exercises for the Novice ring and begin to teach ring procedure to the students.
Students graduating from the Beginning II class should be ready to go on into this course. Even if you are
not interested in competition this is a great class to continue to master all of the companion obedience skills.

Novice Prep
This course is designed for those dogs that are ready to compete in the Novice obedience ring. More proofing
of the necessary exercises and run throughs to polish up the performance.
The focus will be on distraction proofing and cleaning up those handler errors that cost points in the ring.

Open/Utility
This course is set up as more of a workshop. Handlers are introduced to the exercises and are able to work
at their own pace while basic instruction and tips are given along the way.

Rally
Rally obedience, also referred to as Rally-O, is the the newest dog event on the scene. It is a fast paced
and fun obedience related event that gives the dog and handler a more relaxed atmosphere than traditional obedience.
The courses are designed with signs (or stations) where the teams perform the posted exercises. This course introduces
the basic signs and teaches the teams how to perform them.
